Breathe Better Treatment

Breathe a sigh of relief—you’re in the right place.

The Breathe Better Treatment can help you breathe deeper and easier in just 1-2 sessions.

We're Here to Help You Breathe Better

The Breathe Better Treatment is exactly what it claims to be—a treatment that helps you breathe better!

We first developed the Breathe Better Treatment for our long COVID patients who were being sent home, medically cleared of lung issues, but still struggling for air.

This made it apparent that solving their breathing problems went beyond having healthy lungs.

Over time it became clear that even for many of our healthy patients, tight upper body muscles and locked up joints were restricting their otherwise healthy breathing.

We created the Breathe Better Treatment to restore your breathing biomechanics and get you back to breathing easy.

Your body is meant to breathe easily, day in and day out.

But, life happens, and we can lock up.

The Breathe Better Treatment gets you back on track and gives you more breathing room.

How Does the Breathe Better Treatment Work?

Dr. Mason Stewart demonstrating to a female patient how to breathe with the belly as part of the breath training for the Breathe Better Treatment.

Think of the body as a breath machine. The lungs are the bellows, inside a framework of bone and muscle.

If you have tight muscles and sticky joints, your lungs can’t fully expand.

The Breathe Better Treatment loosens up problem areas to let your lungs expand again and get you back to your recommended lung capacity.

We tune up your breathing machine in five steps:

      1. Test Lung Capacity
      2. Targeted Soft Tissue Work
      3. Chiropractic Adjustments
      4. Breath Training
      5. Re-Test

For a more in-depth breakdown of these steps, check out our Ultimate Guide to the Breathe Better Treatment. (Coming Soon)

We combine targeted soft tissue work, upper body adjustments, and breath training to get your breathing back on track.

Preparing for Treatment

The Breathe Better Treatment relies on soft tissue work. As such, access to the back, collar bone, and ribs is necessary for the bulk of the treatment, similar to working with a licensed massage therapist. We will not treat any areas you prefer not to treat.

As the patient, your attire to allow this access is up to you. Please wear what you feel most comfortable in, as your comfort is our highest priority! Common choices include tank tops, sports bras, or loose, open-neck t-shirts. Men often choose to simply remove their shirts.
